This is just my official notice that I now have a U.S. Passport. The rest of the world is hereby placed on notice that I could show up at any given moment.

    Greetings,

Your passport looks fine! You are invited to come to Canada and speak to the Canadian churches!!

  2. So now you’re calling yourself the Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse? Or are you just fulfilling prophecy by running to and fro and increasing your knowledge? šŸ˜€

  3. Ha! An American passport is among the last things I suspect that the two witnesses will need. šŸ™‚ Actually, I was thinking more of citizens of the world being prepared to hospitably share a cup of hot chocolate or a nice bowl of macaroni and cheese on a moment’s notice.

As for the Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse, I wouldn’t dare given who that Rider really is (Rev. 19:11-16)! Besides, after the four horsemen of False Religion, War, Famine, and Pestilence, I don’t think that a fifth one symbolizing Being Rather Well-Fed makes much sense. šŸ™‚

  4. Hm. Since the world doesn’t think of Jesus Christ as the Fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse, I haven’t either. But you have a point. He will have a lot of horsemen in His train, though, so what do we call them? šŸ˜€

Anyway, your idea of sharing a hot cup of cocoa etc. with other world citizens sounds good, but you could do that just as well here. šŸ˜‰

  5. kathy: Nothing is planned. We are getting our passports now just to give us more options in the future.

Steve: I’ve only done two such trips in my life, but they were pleasant enough. At the same time, I’m a professional sitter.

James: You know, I don’t think I did. I think mine very clearly said “Mother” & “Father.” A change like that would be hard to miss! How stupid a change, and, yet, as the fundamental concept of family disintegrates I suppose such changes are inevitable. Perhaps more frightening than the politics is the fact that science is taking us to a point where a child literally can have two parents of the same gender. Scary days, my friend. Scary days.

What are you thinking?
