Video for those with Isaiah 11 on their minds these days

The video has made the rounds over the years, but I thought Mr. Dylan King’s cut and music (done with permission from the appropriate folks) made it a very appropriate video to view for those out there who have Isaiah 11:6-9 on their minds as the Feast of Tabernacles draws near!  And you never know: there might be two or three people out there unfamiliar with this story. 🙂

  1. I love that video!

Hopefully it’s not out of line to suggest this video also (although it’s more apt for Trumpets)…

I haven’t recorded Isaiah 11:1-9 from the same series of recordings as a video yet, but I hope to do so. It’s incredibly different from Ross Jutsam’s vision of the same text. In that light, the first part of Isaiah 11 is given as what it properly is in context: a message of hope for people who’ve lost all hope, who’ve gone through the worst time in human history… and for such people, Mr. Jutsam’s musical light-heartedness won’t do.

(Proverbs 25:20 NKJV) Like one who takes away a garment in cold weather, And like vinegar on soda, Is one who sings songs to a heavy heart.
