Branson Feast Work – 2010 AND 2011!

Titanic Museum welcoming Feastgoers
Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri

Today will be devoted to wrapping up some final things related to the Branson Feast of Tabernacles site for 2010 — and putting some things in place for 2011!

One of the funny things about the Feast is that while one year’s work is coming to a peak, there is already a lot of work being done behind the scenes to prepare for the next year, and all those involved with Festival Site selection — from those at the top like Mr. Meredith, Mr. Crockett, etc. down to happy local lackies such as myself — are expecting to be in Branson next year, as well.  Now, I won’t be coordinating it next year.  My family and I will be taking a break from Festival coordination after the last four years, and those who are able to do it year after year after year have earned my admiration!  But, still, even though I won’t be coordinating it I am working to make sure that all is set for the Living Church of God’s appearance next year in Branson in 2011.

Of course, all the human beings involved may plan on being in Branson in 2011, but we all know who has the final say — or rather Who has the final say!  God says that His Feast sites are those places where He places His name (cf. Deuteronomy 16), and He always has the right to act on what I’ve come to call the “Paducah Clause”: the right to place His name wherever He wishes, regardless of whether or not we’ve made plans otherwise. 🙂

Regardless, wherever you are keeping the Feast of Tabernacles this year, I hope that your time spent picturing the glory and abundance coming to us in Tomorrow’s World is powerful, pleasant, and profitable!

The Paducah Clause, that is pretty good. It made me chuckle. I went to Paducah, I enjoyed it. Kind of made me think of the place of safety—-having most everyone in one place as it were.
God can make some interesting moves, He can and He does.
I enjoy your “Thoughts In Route” they are interesting, imformative and sometimes just funny or have a tendecy to make one laugh a little. Good for a person to laugh a little. Thank you.
