Wikiwaiting in Charlotte

Just a quick post to say that I am soon to leave Charlotte and head for Texas. My plane is delayed, so I’ve got a bit of time on my hands.

Time which will be thoroughly wasted now that I have discovered that I can access Wikipedia in cellphone-friendly format! Wow — the finest source of marginally correct information in the world, right at my fingertips, 24/7. (Seriously, it was actually very helpful earlier this week when Mr. Rod King and I were researching information on a major European cable station that was opening up for the work.)

Gotta go — looks like the plane is almost ready to leave and I sure would like to be on it. As always, it has been a real joy to be here in Charlotte, and a joy to spend time with the team God is using is powerfully to accomplish His will and to do His work. While I am happy to be going home (well, to Texas, at least — but my wife is there now, and for me home is wherever she and the kids are), I am already looking forward to my next trip to HQ. Just let me get some sleep first. 🙂

Great….. “the finest source of marginally correct information in the world”

That is a good way to describe it. I find it a helpful place to start research. Wikipedia seams by a repository of what is generally accepted or believed by the population (or at least wiki-editors). So it helps to quantify what the average person thinks, and every once in a while even has some factual information.

What are you thinking?
