Quick update on meetings

Howdy, all!

I just thought I would mention that the meeting today (the whole reason I am in Charlotte this weekend) went very well, and my thanks go out to everyone in my areas who offered prayers for its success.

Also, I had the chance to talk to several concerning the Council of Elders meeting that transpired this past week — including a long talk with Mr. Millich while he was trapped on the treadmill and couldn’t escape 🙂 — and apparently it also went really well and was muchos productive.  (My Español is impressive, verdad?)  Thanks, again, for your prayers for that meeting.

Several visitors are still here — I think Mr. Hernandez did some filming today, and I believe he is still here, and Mr. Rod King is giving the sermon tomorrow.

We will leave Sunday morning and, God willing, will arrive back in our beloved little corner of Missouri Monday evening.

I’ve said it twice already, but it let me say it one more time: thanks for your prayers!  The apostle Paul thought it was important enough to ask for directly (1 Thessalonians 5:25), and I think he was onto something.  Please pray for us as we pray for you, and we’re looking forward to being back in our usual stomping grounds with the rest of you. 🙂

Warm regards,
Wallace Smith

Yeah, about as impressive as my Japanese…as the joke goes, “Stand back! I know karate, jijutsu, and half a dozen other Japanese words!” 😉

One of these days, I’d like to trap *all four* of you somewhere: my old friend Mr. Hernandez, Messrs. King and Millich (whom I have yet to meet), and you. I’ll just stand there and soak up information like a sponge.
