So long, Internet, and hello, bugs and trees and sweat and… did I say bugs?

Howdy, all!  This is just a quick entry to let everyone know that I will likely lose internet access (and the ability to approve comments) over the next few days (including today), as we are going to a church campout in southeastern Missouri.

I am taking my laptop!  After last weekend’s painful separation, I am considering having it surgically attached (that wouldn’t exactly be “plastic surgery” — maybe “silicon surgery”?).  However, I seriously doubt that there is any WiFi access there.

Still, you never know.  How else would all the woodland creatures be able to visit their favorite American Idol chat rooms?

If there is access, then I will attempt to dutifully blog from there — although I suspect that many manly activities such as wrestling bears (i.e., children), killing big game (i.e., hot dogs) to feed my family, and protecting my wife from wild beasts (i.e., children) will likely take up most of my time.

Whether you find yourself in the real-life woods or the concrete jungle this weekend, I hope you have a wonderfully profitable Sabbath!

No, it would mean what some of us have long seen coming: assimilation by the Borg. (Resistance really is futile, I guess.) 🙂

What are you thinking?
